2 The Secret Vine Wine Festival (July 6-7)
Hout Bay’s Bay Harbour Market is celebrating its 8th birthday this weekend by hosting the Secret Vine Wine Festival. From the region’s best wines and local foods to a variety of arts and crafts and live music, there is plenty to look forward to at the festival. Bay Harbour Market will also be launching the Secret Garden Lounge which is their brand new social area. Tickets for the festival cost R100 per person and include a Bay Harbour Market wine glass and 10 tastings.

3 The Lawns Market (July 7)
Head out to the Round House Road in Camps Bay this Sunday to check out the magnificent Lawns Market. Expect to find a variety of items on sale ranging from bags and jewelry to swimwear, chocolate, and sunglasses. Besides shopping, visitors can order drinks and local gourmet foods. You can even bring along your pet, as the Lawns Market is a pet-friendly event.

4 Christmas in July Lunch @ Reuben’s Restaurant
The popular One&Only Hotel’s Reuben’s Restaurant is inviting guests to join the Christmas celebration in July this weekend and enjoy a delicious lunchtime spread. The menu includes traditional dishes like Yorkshire pudding, Christmas carvery, and a nice selection of homemade desserts. Besides food, guests can enjoy a glass of bubbly or eggnog. If you are planning to attend the event with children, there will activities for the little ones including face painting and a magician performance. One ticket for lunch at Reuben’s will set you back R590.

5 Lunga Tshuka: These are my stories (July 5-6)
There are many fabulous events in Cape Town this weekend and the stand-up comedy show by Lunga Tshuka at the Artscape Theatre is one of them. This popular comedian tells stories about his childhood days on the Cape Flats by using impersonations and cool sound effects. The show starts at 7 30 pm and tickets are available for R60 per person.
