Please be advised we are currently experiencing “Load shedding” across South Africa which is a schedule and continuous updates to interruptions in electricity. We have provided backup power in this property to a certain extent but it is to be noted by the guest that the load-shedding schedules and times change from day to day and sometimes at short notice. We cannot be held responsible for this and have provided a certain level of backup power in an attempt to alleviate the inconvenience caused. An application called ESKOM SE PUSH can be downloaded to access a schedule for the area in which is Sea Point.

Good power back-up for WiFi and the bedrooms have rechargeable bulbs.

Charging the re-chargeable bulbs please leave the switch on at all times. It charges when there’s electricity and automatically comes on when the electricity goes out, it has a built-in long-lasting battery capacity for up to 4 – 8 hours when fully charged.
