1 April Summer Concerts @ V&A Waterfront (April 13)
Saturday evening concert at V&A Waterfront’s amphitheater is an event not to be missed. This Saturday, the popular Delft Big Band is scheduled to perform and entertain large crowds of visitors. Formed back in 2008, Delft Big Band consists of two vocalists and 17 musicians. They’ve played at many respectable festivals including the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, Cape Town International Jazz Festival, and Liverpool Brouhaha Festival. The entrance to the show is free of charge.

2 The Noordhoek Crush 2019 (April 13)
A list of major events in Cape Town wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the annual Noordhoek Crush festival which is taking place at the lovely Noordhoek Farm Village this Saturday. Visitors will have a chance to sample around 80 wines from 20 different wine estates and farms across the Cape Winelands. There will be food stalls, as well as live music and entertainment for kids. The entrance to the festival is free and wine tasting costs R150 per person.

3 Village Vibes (April 12-13)
We are proud to present the first ever Village Vibes event at the Joon restaurant in Muizenberg. This two-night event includes everything from performances by Brazilian salsa dancers and spoken word poetry to live folk, jazz, and rock music to stand-up comedy performances. Of course, delicious food will be on sale, as well as local wines from Durbanville Hills and a variety of craft beers. Noon Gun Brewery is also offering gin and tonic tastings. Get your tickets in advance for R250 per night, as the event is strictly limited to 75 people.

4 Company’s Garden Tree Tour (April 13)
If you love spending time in nature, we recommend going on a guided Company’s Garden Tree Tour this Saturday. Clare Burgess who is a landscape architect and lecturer will be leading this fantastic tour which explores medical and edible plants. A bird expert, Linda Hibbin will also be joining the tour. Pre-booking tickets cost R250 per person, while a ticket on the day of the event costs R350. Tickets include fynbos refreshments.

5 Daniel Ciobanu Piano Recital @ Baxter Theatre (April 13)
The award-winning pianist Daniel Ciobanu is performing at the Baxter Theatre this Saturday as a part of the Cape Town Concert Series. The talented pianist won dozens of prestigious prizes including 1st Prize in the Sheepdrove Piano Competition, 2nd Prize and Audience Favourite at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv, and many others. Tickets for this event cost R190 per person and the performance starts at 7.30 pm.
