Helderberg Cottage is a neat, comfortable self catering cottage situated separately from the main residence in the heart of the scenic and quieter town of Somerset West.

It is very centrally situated with easy access to Cape Town (30 minutes), the safe-for-swimming and ideal surfing Strand beach (10 minutes), the university town of Stellenbosch and it’s the many wine farms (15 minutes) and about 20 minutes from the Cape Town International Airport. It boasts one of the Country’s biggest shopping malls and has many excellent restaurants and coffee shops to indulge in.

Situated high against the Helderberg Mountain, bordering the vineyards of Stellenbosch and overlooking the warmer Indian Ocean beaches, this cottage has a unique ‘country feeling’ while still very close to all amenities.

The Cottage is available all year round and is suitable for holidaymakers and business people alike.

It has its own private entrance with wrap around balcony to the back of the cottage with chairs to relax in. A portable Weber barbeque is also available for preparing meals on the balcony.

Helderberg Cottage features two bedrooms, the main bedroom with an extra length queen size bed and the second bedroom with twin beds. The main bedroom slides open onto the private balcony which overlooks the garden with a trampoline. There is a separate bathroom with shower and twin basins.

There is an open plan lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen to meet your catering needs with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and stove, fridge and an espresso coffee machine.

The lounge contains a comfortable double sleeper couch and an additional leather couch with a flat screen TV with full satellite (DSTV) and a dining room table with 4 chairs. There are also another 2 chairs at the kitchen counter.
All necessary crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils are provided.

The Cottage is fully alarmed and linked to an armed response and off street parking for 1 car is available behind secure gates.

Helderberg Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests and on the same property there is a separate fully equipped, self catering 4 bedroom house, accommodating 8 guests, which can be rented independently or together with the cottage when available.

The Cottage is serviced before check in, after check out and once a week during the guests stay. Additional servicing is available at an extra cost.
