Cape Town’s Grand West Arena has hosted a number of fantastic shows and international entertainers and bands over the past few years, and 2011 looks even more promising with artists like The Script and James Blunt set for sold out shows later this year.

Stealing the entertainment limelight at the moment though, is the world-famous and critically acclaimed touring show of the Cirque du Soleil which ventured out to South Africa for the first time ever this year! Renowned for its ability to awe, inspire and entertain, the Saltimbanco show opens in Cape Town today and will be here until the 3rd of April. Described by most spectators as “awesome”, in the true sense of the word, Saltimbanco promises to deliver spectacular entertainment here in our fair city, as it did last week in Johannesburg.
