The home is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac right in the heart of exclusive Bakoven. Take a ‘simple sam’ (your bicycle during your stay) for a brisk morning ride to one of the many breakfast offerings on the much-loved Camps Bay strip along the beachfront. Feel the cool running, walking and cycling vibe of locals and tourists alike going about their daily exercise routines on the promenade.
The evenings deliver an equally enjoyable energy along the beachfront with the bungalow being a short stroll away. It’s the perfect secret hideaway domain offering the solitude of the ocean and intriguing rock coves .
Entering through the reclaimed rustic front door leads you into a spacious foyer offering the first glimpse of the splash pool and ocean beyond.
Moving into the open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area you’ll know you’re officially on holiday. The laid-back comfy-coastal aesthetic creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and unwinding – best achieved on the oversized veranda complete with plush seating.
The veranda is flanked to the one side by the splash pool courtyard complete with sun-loungers and on the other side by a second patio offering a dining space, an outdoor shower and a small gate which leads directly onto the beach.
The lounge is fitted with a Smart TV complete with DSTV, comfortable seating for the whole family and a wood burning stove for chilly winter nights.
The dining area is large and offers comfortable seating for friends and family alike to enjoy a home-cooked meal.
The kitchen is compact and practical boasting Smeg appliances throughout and a view to die for. Complete with a gas hob, a dishwasher and Nespresso machine, everything’s been thought of.
On the ground level you will find 2 bedrooms – the first with a Queen bed and the second with 2 single beds (can be converted into a king by prior request). One of the rooms is ensuite and the second has a separate bathroom right next door. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers.
Upstairs you will find the spacious loft-esque master bedroom complete with a King bed, plenty of cupboard space and a beautiful ensuite bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with a double vanity, a free-standing bath tub and a spacious walk-in shower.
Please note: There is an ongoing construction project in the area that may result in daytime noise. Generally, work occurs during business hours (8 AM – 5 PM) on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Periodic use of power tools and hammering may be heard.
