1 Live Music @ Bay Harbour Market (November 9)
Pay a visit to the lovely Bay Harbour Market this weekend and enjoy delicious global cuisine from dozens of food traders. 2 Stellenberg Gardens Open Day (November 10-11)
In order to raise funds for St Joseph’s Home for Chronically Ill Children, the spectacular Stellenberg Estate will be opening its gardens and sculptures to the public this weekend. Founded in the 18th century, these internationally acclaimed gardens are definitely worth visiting. Make sure to check out the five sculptures which are spread around the gardens and focus on themes such as Bless the Fish, Sense of Humour, The Lightness of Being, Balance, and Silent Strength. The entrance to the gardens will set you back R50, while children under 12 can enter for free.

3 Come and play at Battery Park (November 10)
One of the most anticipated events in the Mother City this weekend is the launch of Cape Town’s new urban park and play space, the fabulous Battery Park. Whether you are into kayaking and stand-up paddling or you prefer skating and water polo, Canal District’s Battery Park is an ideal place to hang out with family and friends.

4 The Color Run (November 10)
If you are in the mood for some physical activity, participate in the annual 5 km-long Color Run South Africa. This Carnival Tour will take you through the lovely streets of Green Point Promenade and Sea Point and medals will be handed out to all contestants who cross the finish line at the Festival Zone. All participants will begin the race in a white The Color Run T-shirt.

5 Stone Jets: Live @ Cafe Roux (November 10)
The performance by the Stone Jets at Café Roux is definitely one of the best music events in the Mother City this weekend. These guys from Cape Town are playing their version of Afro Pop Rock and they sound amazing. The band made an appearance on national television SABC 3’s expresso morning show and they played at some of the biggest South African festivals in the last couple of years.
