The Cape Town Cycle Tour 2018 is set to take place on Sunday 11 March 2018. After last year’s event being cancelled due to the strong winds, this year’s Cape Town Cycle Tour has been eagerly awaited by cyclists and spectators alike. Please note that events like this can change in an instant. We will do our best to update this event listing if cancellations occur. On Saturday 10 March 2018, local bands The Rudimentals, Crimson House and Sean Koch Trio will be taking to the Farmhouse Rocks stage. Take a drive out to Scarborough for an afternoon of good music, good vibes and good times at Cape Farmhouse, as you enjoy the laid-back setting of this live music venue. On Sunday 11 March 2018 between 15h00 and 19h00, Steenberg High School hosts the CFlat Youth Jazz Festival. A number of groups will take to the stage, including the Steenberg High Wind Band, South Peninsula High School Jazz Band, Steenberg High Jazz Band, Steenberg High Jazz Ensemble, Stellenbosch University Jazz Ensembles, and The Fostering Foundation Artists, as well as special guests Sophia Foster and RJ Benjamin. The event takes place in the courtyard of Steenberg High, where a new 1000 seater outdoor Alstom Music Pavilion has been erected.
