1 The Daily Music Show Grand Opening (January 11-13)

Visitors will have an opportunity to try local dishes and sample signature wines from the region. The entrance to the event is free of charge.

3 Queen: It’s A Kinda Magic Tribute Show (January 12)
Presented by Showtime Australia, Queen: It’s A Kinda Magic Tribute Show is taking place at the Grand Arena this Saturday in Cape Town. It’s not just your average tribute show, as this cover band was personally endorsed by Peter Freestone, a former biographer, and assistant of Freddie Mercury. The concert will include hit songs such as the Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, and Who Wants to Live Forever. Tickets for this event range from R120 to R380

4 The Cape Town Bay to Bay (January 13)
Looking for things to do in the Mother City this Sunday? Participate in the Cape Town Bay to Bay race to get back in shape after all the holiday celebrations. Admire the charming coastline from Camps Bay to Hout Bay while running the 15km or 30 km race. The 30 km run starts from Camps Bay High School, while the 15km run starts from Hout Bay Harbour.
5 The Parlotones @ Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts (January 13)
The award-winning rock band from Johannesburg, the Parlotones are scheduled to perform at the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens this Sunday as a part of the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts series. The band has 3 double platinum albums and has performed at the Olympics and at the FIFA World Cup kick-off concert. The tickets for this event range from R170 to R220
