1 Perdeberg’s Harvest Celebration (March 2)

Part of the Paarl Harvest Festival, the Perdeberg’s Harvest Celebration is a relaxing event for the whole family. Expect to find a variety of wines available for tasting, as well as dozens of food trucks offering local specialties. To keep you entertained, bands like Die Wildberries, Viljoen Retief and Rooies are scheduled to perform. In case you are visiting with children, there is a kid’s are which includes a jumping castle, face painting, and a jungle gym.

2 Cape Town Motor Show (March 2-3)

If you feel like having an interactive motoring experience in Cape Town this weekend, head out to the Grand West Casino & Entertainment World to see the awesome Cape Town Motor Show. There will be cars, bikes, trucks, as well as plenty of entertainment for the guests. You will also have a chance to see engine modifications, vehicles used for various competitions, and other auto-related exhibits. The tickets for this event range from R80 to R 1950.

3 Huawei KDay 2019 (March 2)

Huawei KDay is definitely one of the biggest Cape Town events this weekend. Some of the most popular South African artists including Mi Casa, Goodluck, Craig Lucas, Kurt Darren, Lady Zamar, Youngsta CPT, The Kiffness, DJ Kent, Majozi, Pascal and Pearce (with Jethro Tait), Doctor Victor and the Rasta Rebels, Timo ODV, Jamali and Chad Saaiman  are scheduled to perform at the Meerendal Wine Estate where the festival is taking place. Tickets for this music festival cost R300 per adult.

4 South Yeasters Summer Fest 2019 (March 3)

Beer lovers will be happy to hear that South Yeasters Summer Fest is happening this weekend in Claremont. Expect to find around 5 homebrewed beers available to sample and you can actually vote for your favorite beer. The winner will receive the prestigious People’s Choice trophy. In case you get hungry, The Rosmead Food Market offers a variety of tasty foods.

5 Amanda Black & Sun-El Musician at Kirstenbosch  (March 3)

The popular Afro Soul singer-songwriter and recording artist, Amanda Black is performing at the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens this Sunday as a part of the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts series.  She will be backed by Sun-El Musician who won the SAMPRA Highest Airplay Song of the Year. Tickets range from R150 to R 190. This is one of the most anticipated Cape Town events this weekend.
