Our high-elevated tents boast outstanding views of rolling green hill tops surrounded by deep indigenous forested valleys and the Tsitsikamma Mountain Range. Three of the tents now offer a private wood-fired hot tub where you can take in the breathtaking view while listening to the crackle of fire under the African sky. A wood-fired hot tub is the purest form of relaxation and enjoying the outdoors, ideal for those starry winter nights.

From Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Jukani Wildlife centre, Hog Hollow Horse Trails, Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve, delightful canoeing trips up the Bitou & Keurbooms River to a visit to one of the many wine estates around the corner, one is spoilt for choice!

Situated between the vibey holiday town of Plettenberg Bay (10 minutes’ drive away) and the quaint village of Natures Valley; AfriCamps finds itself in the centre of the Garden Route. This area is well known for its outstanding natural beauty with mind-blowing beaches and ancient forests. With Knysna and Tsitsikamma National Park both within a 30 minutes drive, AfriCamps at Ingwe is the perfect destination to experience it all.

Wood-fired Hot Tubs 

Three of our six tents offer the exclusive use of their own wood-fired hot tub. A wood-fired hot tub is the purest form of relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. Back to nature, while listening to the crackle of fire under the African sky. Guests have the choice to book a tent with or without a tub when making their booking online.

• Take a fishing trip with a local from the area who can show you the best river or beach to fish. Our local guide will help you with a few local tips and tricks to better your chances of making that catch! Equipment included. Own transport required.
