Hosted by Wine Concepts, the Finer Things in Life is an International sparkling wine and champagne affair that will take place at the Vineyard Hotel this Friday. The event promises plenty of entertainment including dream cars and live music, as well as delicious foods like artisan chocolate and fresh oysters. This year’s theme is “The Magic of Bubbles” and visitors who dress according to it will have a chance to get the award for the best-dressed couple. You can also buy a variety of sparkling wine and champagne at a special price. Tickets to the Finer Things in Life affair will set you back R500 per person and the event starts at 6 pm.

2 Dance season @ Artscape (November 23-24)

Head out to the Artscape Theatre this weekend and see the performance by Nexus, a production that celebrates dance and includes existing works such as Point of Connections, Cape of Ghosts, Limitless Self, and Exurgent. This is the first South African festival dedicated to desserts and attracts some of the most famous pastry professionals, chocolatiers, confectioners, caterers, local restaurants, ice cream shops, and small dessert companies. Base Camp Bedouin Tents and D’Aria wine estate are proud the present the first Cocoblush Wine Festival. Besides premium wines from D’Avaria Wine, the event will feature dozens of food vendors, chocolate offerings in various forms and shapes, tasty desserts, and bakes, and live bands to keep visitors entertained. One of these events is the performance by the Multi-Platinum UK rockers James which will take place at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on November 24. James are one of the most popular British indie bands and their South African tour follows the release of their latest album, Living in Extraordinary Times. 6 Super Car Saturday @ Silo District (November 24)

If you wish to see some sleek supercars alongside their owners, head out to the Solo District at the V&A Waterfront this Saturday to check out the Super Car Saturday event. Around 30 to 40 sleek car owners will gather at the Aston Martin & McLaren showroom from where they will make their way to the Silo District. Visitors will have an opportunity to get up close and admire many classic super cars like Mclarens, Aston Martins, and many others. The good news is that the entrance to this event is free of charge.
