1 Silo Concerts: CT Philharmonic Orchestra @ V&A Waterfront (November 2)
The V&A Waterfront’s Silo District is scheduled to host the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra performance this Friday. For those who not know, CPO was founded back in 1914 and is one of the best active orchestras in Africa. Visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy their two-hour performance and the entrance to this event is free of charge. The performance begins 7 pm sharp and ends at 9 pm.

2 Wine Festival @ Constantia (November 2)
Head out to Constantia’s Schoenstatt estate this weekend to enjoy wine tastings organized by 9 exquisite wine estates from the region. Besides great wine, an amazing finger supper will be organized by the hosts. Visitors can also enjoy a cheese tasting provided by Puglia and participate in a silent auction of interesting wine and other products from these 9 estates. 3 FoodEx (November 3)
One of the most anticipated Cape Town events this weekend, the popular FoodEx showcases over 80 retail food brands from South Africa and offers foodies a chance to discover a variety of specialty foods with distinct flavors. From craft beers provided by Swifty’s Bru to slow-cooked meat from Pitmasters Low & Slow smoked meat food truck, there is definitely no shortage of both drinks and foods at this fabulous event which is hosted by the famous comedian Rob van Vuuren. Alongside food and drinks, visitors can enjoy kid-friendly entertainment, live music, and arcade games.

4 Endless Daze Festival (November 2-4)
If you wish to hear a couple of rocking bands this weekend in Cape Town, make sure to purchase a ticket for the Endless Daze Festival which will take place at the Silwerstroom Resort. Set by the sea, this small outdoor festival has a groovy line up with artists like A Place To Bury Strangers (USA), Dead Meadow (USA), WITCH ft. Jacco Gardner, kidofdoom, The Brother Moves On, Medicine Boy, NONN, Candice Gordon, Black Math, Diamond Thug, Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys, Morena Leraba, Sakawa Boys, Runaway Nuns, Black Lung, AS Fanning, Clayton Human, Msaki, Julia Robert, LUMA, Yndian Mynah, Ex Olympic, Them Fads, Zoo Lake, The Dinosaurs, Dumama & Kechou, DJ Mighty, Holy Funk DJ’s, and others. Keep in mind that this is an adults-only event. Tickets to the festival range from R750 to R900.

5 Windhoek Oktoberfest (November 2-3)
For a traditional Munich-style experience, visit the Windhoek Oktoberfest at the Meerendal Wine Estate in Durbanville. From all of the Cape Town events this weekend, this one boasts some of the most interesting activities like traditional folk dances, beer lifting, catty shooting, and live music performance by the Kirchdorfer band and Die Broers. Fest bier is specially brewed for this occasion by Namibia Breweries and authentic German dishes like Bratwurst and Eisbein will be available to order.
