Looking for fun things to do in Cape Town this winter? Snow World at GrandWest Casino is sure to give you all the wintery fun you could want, with plenty of action and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. From 1 May to 31 July, GrandWest will be transformed into a snowy winter wonderland, complete with snowboarding and high speed slides for the more adventurous and gentler slopes for those wanting to ease into things. Other highlights include ice age animals that are fully animatronic, snow play areas and an ice bar for the grown-ups.

How Do Snow World Passes Work?
The following passes can be purchased on the hour for a 45 minute session:
Snow Boarding Pass (Full Access) – R140 per session
Snow Boarding and Snow Tubing in Snow Box, 2 Ice Slides, Ice Age Animals, Snow Play Areas. Includes 20 minute lesson for first-timers.
Snow and Ice Rider Pass – R120 per session
Snow Tubing in Snow Box, 2 Ice Slides, Ice Age Animals, Snow Play Areas
Mini Pass – R60 per session
1 Ice slide, Snow Play Areas, Ice Age Animals
Non-Rider Pass – R50 per session
Access Only
Please note that age restrictions apply to snowboarding passes. No riders under 6 years of age are allowed, and indemnity forms must be signed by guardians for snowboarders under the age of 18.
When is GrandWest Casino Snow World Open?
Snow World in Cape Town is open on the following days:
Mondays and Tuesdays: closed (except for public holidays and school holidays)
Wednesdays and Thursdays: 12h00 – 22h00
Fridays: 12h00 – 23h00
Saturdays: 10h00 – 23h00
Sundays: 10h00 – 21h00
Public Holidays and School Holidays: 10h00 – 23h00
