The highly anticipated Cape Getaway Show, brought to you by Mercedes-Benz Vans, returns to Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West from 15-17 March 2013. 2012 saw over 17 800 visitors flocking to Africa’s leading travel & outdoor show and this year promises to be an even more exhilarating experience for travel, adventure and outdoor enthusiasts.
2013 will see over 250 interactive exhibits in air-conditioned marquees showcasing affordable accommodation, beautiful African destinations, camping and outdoor gear, 4×4 vehicles and accessories, amazing adventure opportunities, Ride Magazine and Cycle Lab’s mini cycle show and a workshop for budding travel and wildlife photographers. Loads of visitors will walk away with weekend breakaways, gear and other amazing prizes in the spin-and-win competition.
Enjoy Lourensford’s scenic beauty with hikes, mountain bike rides, helicopter flips and a 4×4 track. With the focus on a fun-day out for the whole family, kids activities include a climbing wall, quattro bungy and bubble ball, while adults can enjoy live music, the Castle Lite beer tent, Best Value Wine tastings and an array of delicious food.
The show is open from 10h00 – 18h00 on Friday, 15 March, 09h00 – 19h00 on Saturday, 16 March and 09h00 – 17h00 on Sunday, 17 March.
Entry is R60 for adults and R30 for pensioners and students. Under 12s are free. Parking is free. Tickets available at the gates or online at getawayshow.co.za.
