Welcome to Blinkwater.  Built in 1904, this extremely special home has generously been made available by the family for visitors to Gordons Bay so that they can experience the same “yesteryear”, “back to your childhood”, down to earth, lekker holiday feeling that they grew up with.

This unique property has not been upgraded, or refurbished for the purpose of holiday let, but instead, left to evolve naturally as the family grew.  Full of Nostalgia and family memories from when you enter the front door.  Let us catapult you back in time, to memories of fun filled family holidays at the seaside.  If this house could talk, it would have quite a tale to tell!

This lovely property is definitely not an upmarket residence, but rather a comfortable, clean, well-located, large family holiday accommodation.

Blinkwater is a double-storey house situated on Beach Road, a stone throw away from the beach, and overlooks False Bay with Table Mountain in the distance.

The property can sleep 18 people, but groups of more than 10 need to make a “special” booking directly with our offices. You will find 2 bedrooms upstairs, and four bedrooms downstairs consisting of 4 x double beds, 4 single beds and 3 bathrooms.

There are three toilets, one upstairs with a bath and basin, another upstairs by itself, and one downstairs with a bath and basin.

• Linen is provided but please NOTE – No towels are provided  
• There is a once-off cleaning fee of R500
• A Breakage deposit of R2000 is required for groups over 12 people

• NO VISITORS (No more guests are allowed on the premises than stipulated in the Confirmation of Reservation).
