1 Wishbone Ash 2019 Tour (June 14)
Have you ever heard of the British band called Wishbone Ash? Well, they are truly awesome and they have a nationwide tour in South Africa which includes a show in Cape Town this Friday. The band is celebrating its 49th anniversary and the name of the tour is XLIX. Tickets for the concert cost R295 per person.

2 Franschhoek Winter Wines (June 15)
Capetonians are crazy about wine, so it comes as no surprise that the Franschhoek Winter Wines is one of the most anticipated events in Cape Town this weekend. Visitors will have a chance to sample a variety of local wines and pair them with some seriously delicious season-inspired foods here in Franschhoek. The event is held at the Franschhoek Cellar and there will be live music to keep you entertained. A ticket to the event will set you back R295 per person at the venue, while early bird tickets can be purchased for R280.

3 Father’s Day at Bay Harbour Market (June 16)
One of the best ways to spend Father’s Day in Cape Town this year is by paying a visit to the popular Bay Harbour Market. From stalls selling various items to dining establishments where you can stop to have lunch or dinner, there is plenty to look forward to when visiting the Bay Harbour Market.

4 Mandla Mlangeni: Standard Bank Young Artist for Jazz (June 16)
Presented by Norval Foundation’s Concert Programme, Mandla Mlangeni live in concert on Youth Day is one of the most anticipated events in Cape Town this weekend. This seven-piece band is scheduled to perform pieces from Born to Be Black: A Celebration of Conscious Soul at the Norval Foundation this Sunday. The event also includes lunch and tickets cost R500 per person. If you wish to skip lunch and only see the show, this will set you back R200.

5 RCS Gugs Youth Day Race (June 16)
Gugulethu is hosting the annual RCS Youth Day Race this weekend. The main aim of the event is to celebrate the youth of South Africa and the race brings together folks from all backgrounds who wish to support the local community. In case you finish as one of the first 1500 contestants, you will earn a medal. Parking will be available at the top deck of the Gugulethu Mall.
