This Large 6 Bedroom Holiday Home in Cape Town is a heritage property built in Pinelands in 1935 and lovingly renovated.
This gorgeous comfortable home is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing family holiday.
A double story house with original Oregon wooden floors and features is unique in that it sleeps 8 people upstairs and 4 people down stairs.
The downstairs bedrooms are designed as self-catering suites, each having a well-equipped kitchenette and televisions with full satellite TV channels.
The downstairs bedrooms enjoy views of the front garden and are quiet and peaceful.
Both of these rooms lead into the house, one directly, the other is slightly more private with its entrance opposite the main house’s front door.
The modern well equipped kitchen is the heart of the home. Featuring a double oven, 5 burner gas hob and double fridge/freezer with water/ice dispenser and a TV.
A separate scullery houses the dishwasher, washing machine and a second fridge for keeping your summer drinks ice cold.
The kitchen flows through to the entertainment area, pool and pretty back garden.
The covered entertainment area is large with comfortable seating that allows you to relax in the tranquil garden setting.
To the side of the covered area we have a large tree under which you can relax with a book, enjoy a sundowner, or just listen to the birds.
There is a gas braai, Weber barbeque and a free standing braai for you to cook up a storm and a large outside table for eating alfresco under the shade of the tree.
Enjoy a swim in our refreshing salt water pool or go inside into the cool of the house (thatched homes are famous for being cool in summer) kick back in the large family room and chill out watching a movie on our large flat screen TV.
On a cooler night light our wood burning fireplace/stove and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
The house has WiFi throughout and the two main TV’s are SmartTV’s.
The bathrooms are modern and functional, mostly with showers, with the main bathroom upstairs featuring a large spa bath.
Park up to 4 vehicles behind automated gates, with an additional 2 vehicles in the automated double garage.
The house is fully alarmed. The garden automatically irrigated.
