At this event, you can celebrate the beginning of summer as you explore their spectacular garden, enjoy new dishes, discover the newly planted chenin vineyards, enjoy wine tastings and take a tour of the estate’s historic mill. Taking place at Sun Park, GrandWest Casino, in Goodwood on Friday 3 November and Saturday 4 November 2017, Cape Town Bierfest by Tops celebrates the love of beer. Highlights at this year’s event include specially-made, cold craft beers, Adolf Thelen’s Songscape Oompah Band, award-winning actor and stand-up comedian Brendan Murray, The Rockerfellas, traditional Oktoberfest-inspired games, competitions and more. Endless Daze Festival takes place at Silverstroom Resort in Atlantis from Friday 3 November to Sunday 5 November 2017. Highlights on this year’s line-up include Thee Oh Sees (USA), Moon Duo (USA), Medicine Boy, Amy Ayanda, Runaway Nuns, The Deadly Bites, Hezron Chetty and The Zugzwang and more. There will be food trucks as well as a fully stocked bar also at the event. Tickets cost R600 pre-sale and R750 at the gate. On Saturday 4 November 2017, at Val de Vie Estate in Paarl, the Cintron Pink Polo 2017 event takes place. This glamorous event is all in the name of charity, with proceeds going towards breast cancer programmes and research. Highlights include an afternoon of polo, fashion and high tea on the lawns of SA’s one and only wine and polo estate. There will also be food trucks and a cash bar. Starting on Saturday 4 November 2017 and continuing until 11 November 2017, SA Cocktail Week 2017 is a celebration of cocktails and signature drinks. The festival kicks off The Grand Opening at The Cape Quarter and Jarvis Street in De Waterkant on Saturday from 16h30 until 22h00. Highlights include over 20 pop-up bars, lounges and DJs, along with delicious food including burgers, sushi, pizzas and pasta. On Saturday 4 November 2017, the German International School will host their annual DSK Bazaar. This family friendly event takes place at the school, which is located on Bay View Avenue in Tamboerskloof, City Bowl.
