Hosted by local comedienne Mel Jones and Argentinian Pik Pokus, the line-up includes a variety of acts, from crossbow contortionist and silk artist Orissa Kelly,to cloud swing and hoop artist Tom McKinnon, laser and bubble magic man Thomas Favaro, a disco inspired roller skating act, a knife throwing act and plenty of other entertainment. 2/ Cape Town International Film Festival
Taking place at the V&A Waterfront on 20 and 21 October 2017, the Cape Town International Film Festival is where you can enjoy a line-up of world-class films from all over the world. There is also a market taking place, which offers a chance to enjoy the Waterfront’s many excellent restaurants, in addition to international fashion boutiques, jewelry, fine art and other goodies. The market is free to browse, taking place at the Cape Town Cruise Terminal near Radisson Red Hotel. The film festival takes place at NuMetro and SK Nouveau cinemas within the V&A. Also taking place at the V&A Waterfront between 20 and 22 October 2017 is the annual Cape Town International Boat Show. This show features a variety of watercraft, from luxury motor yachts and sailing catamarans to simple boats, outboard motors, electronic equipment and watertoys. Taking place at Hangklip Hotel in Pringle Bay, LlamaLand 2017 gives you a great excuse for a road trip. This event runs all weekend, from 20 to 22 October 2017. Liane Lurie’s revival of Don Quixote captures the humour, Spanish flavour and adventure of Cervantes’ classic tale. On Saturday 21 October 2017, as part of the SA College of Music Services, Under the Skies will be taking place at the Baxter Theatre on Main Road in Rondebosch. This event showcases the UCT Ibuyambo Orchestra, as they take the audience on a journey through African sound and story-telling. Featuring a number of talented musicians and vocalists from the South African College of Music, Under the Skies is sure to be an experience for any music lover looking for something a little different. 8/ Hot & Spicy Family Show

If you’re looking for a show that the whole family will love, Hot & Spicy Family Show is sure to be a hit.
